Solar Service Field Technician

Solar Field Service Technician — Troubleshoot, Repair, Deliver.

Austin, TX    Full-Time    Hourly, Non-Exempt    Regional Travel

A solar system stops making sense the moment it stops making power. When that call comes in, you're the one who shows up, figures out what's wrong, and fixes it — on the spot.

Freedom Power was born when Freedom Solar and Freedom HVAC joined forces to become Texas's complete whole-house energy company. We don't just install equipment. We hand homeowners the keys to something bigger: control over their energy, their bills, and their future. We call it Energy Empowerment, and it's not a tagline — it's the reason we show up every day.

As a Solar Field Service Technician, you're the technical expert who keeps residential solar, storage, and off-grid systems running the way they're supposed to. You'll respond to dispatch calls, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, climb the roof when the job calls for it, and walk homeowners through exactly what you found and why — building trust one service call at a time.
