Overview

K Group Companies is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer – Low Voltage & Controls to serve as a technical resource across our physical security, low voltage, building automation, and integrated technology systems.

This is a hands-on role focused on system configuration, programming, pre-deployment staging, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support. You will work closely with our engineering, project management, and field service teams to ensure systems are properly configured and ready for deployment, while also serving as a technical resource when complex issues arise in the field.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and understanding how different systems communicate. Niagara 4 Technical Certification (TCP) is valued but not required. K Group will support certification for the right candidate.

Work Environment

This role combines in-house technical work, lab and system staging, office collaboration, and customer-site support.

You can expect a varied workload that includes planned staging and engineering work as well as technical troubleshooting and field escalations. Regional travel will be required for commissioning, complex troubleshooting, and customer training.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys variety, learns new technologies quickly, and wants to be the person others turn to when a technical problem needs to be solved.
