Description:

Orthopedic Hand Surgeon – Join a Growing, High-Performing Team

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and rapidly growing orthopedic practice—with the ability to design, develop, and elevate a comprehensive Hand & Upper Extremity program from day one.

We are looking for a fellowship-trained surgeon passionate about the full spectrum of hand and upper extremity care, including complex fractures, nerve and tendon injuries, microsurgery, arthritis care, and elective procedures. With strong institutional support, dedicated OR access, and robust APP coverage, you’ll have the resources you need to build a thriving, high-demand practice.

Why You’ll Love This Role

Shape a service line. As part of a new and expanding practice, you’ll have the autonomy to build and refine a best-in-class hand surgery program.

High-volume potential. With a large catchment area and strong referral streams, you’ll step into immediate surgical and clinical demand across hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow pathology.

Seamless collaboration. Work closely with emergency medicine, primary care, anesthesia, hospitalists, and therapy teams to support exceptional outcomes.

Work-life balance. A predictable schedule, shared call, and excellent support structure help you thrive both personally and professionally.
