Hourly Shift Lead - Ridge Tool

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Engage and direct hourly employees to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Provide clear feedback to reinforce successes and offer coaching when improvement is needed.
• Assist in training team members to ensure they understand processes, expectations, and work standards.
• Monitor, balance, and adjust daily workflow among work areas to meet operational goals.
• Audit work for 100% accuracy and ensure any discrepancies are corrected prior to completion.
• Ensure successful completion of order picking, order packing, and stock replenishment activities.
• Perform varied tasks requiring independent judgment and the ability to apply knowledge to a wide range of situations.

 For This Role, You Will Need:

• At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a goal‑oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and fairly within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn PC skills and software tools needed for the role.
• Ability to instruct and guide a small group of employees performing varied tasks.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all employees can succeed.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to hold yourself and others accountable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to successfully complete required equipment training, including forklift, stock picker, and reach truck.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with tools available for heavier items.

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.

   

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Previous leadership experience.

• Working knowledge of JDE.
