Job Description

Join Our Cafeteria Crew as a Cashier!

Love friendly faces, fast-paced days, and food? We’ve got the perfect spot for you on our food service team!

We're looking for someone who’s great with people, quick with numbers, and happy to lend a hand where it’s needed. As our Cafeteria Cashier, you'll be the smiling face at the register and a key part of our daily meal service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ring up meals with a smile and keep the lunch line moving
• Accurately record transactions and handle cash (yep, you’ll be a money pro!)
• Make change like a champ and keep things balanced
• Jump in to help portion and serve food when needed
• Bring good vibes and great service to every customer interaction

What You’ll Need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience handling cash (or rocking a register)
• Confidence using a calculator and basic math to prep deposits
• A current Food Handler’s Permit (from Kansas City, Independence, Jackson or Clay County) — or be ready to get one within 30 days
• A can-do attitude, team spirit, and strong communication skills

Bonus Points If:

• You’re a multitasking master
• You love helping people and making someone’s day better
• You’re the kind of person who notices when someone needs a hand—and jumps in without being asked

Sound like your kind of gig? We’d love to have you on the team! Apply today and help serve up good food and good vibes every day.
