The SPARK program (Successful Preschool Adjustment and Readiness for Kindergarten) provides services to children who predominantly range in age from 2-8years old. The program often provides in-class intervention to children experiencing difficulty being and/or feeling successful in preschool. The multi-disciplinary staff consist of Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Psychologists, and Developmental Specialists. Along with in-class intervention, the SPARK program also provides family therapy, individual play therapy, and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation. We serve children and families in Alameda County, with a primary focus in Oakland, Alameda, and Hayward. The SPARK team is committed to providing culturally responsive and trauma-informed Mental Health services.
