Specialty: Breast Imaging (100%)
Position: Part-time (.5 to 0.7 FTE)
Location: On-Site - Sinai Grace Hospital
Call: No call
Weekends: No weekends
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. EST
Volume: Average of 3 procedures per shift, 40 mammography reads. Cases include screening mammograms 45-50%, diagnostic 25-35% and procedures 15-25%.
Setting: Academic, quality-focused environment across five DMC hospitals in metro Detroit
Teaching: Daily resident interaction via the I-Collaborate platform; the department places a high value on education
Technology: Enterprise PACS (Change Healthcare + PowerScribe); Sectra transition planned for 2026
Open to: New graduates and experienced breast imaging physicians
Group: Subspecialty-rich department spanning neuroradiology, MSK, body imaging, pediatric radiology, nuclear medicine, breast imaging, emergency radiology, and more

Candidate Requirements

BE/BC by the American Board of Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology and meet MQSA requirements
U.S. residency trained
Breast Imaging fellowship preferred but not required
Passion for resident teaching and academic medicine
Comfort with the pace of an academic environment
New graduates and experienced breast imaging radiologist's welcome
