Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Surgical Institute

Job Shift: Nights

Job Type: Per Diem

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate.  Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment.  Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. 

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications

Education:   

• High School Diploma or equivalent and Nurse Assistant Course   

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:   

• • Nursing Assistant Certification 

• • Basic Life Support

Minimum Experience 

Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
