Production Associate - Level II

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level II – 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. 

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. 

Physical Requirements

1. Must lift, rotate 90 degrees, and carry metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times/hour

2. Must be able to grasp and operate two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers

3. Must be able to lift and carry up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.

4. Must be able to press together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times/hour

5. Must be able to insert retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times/hour

6. Must be able to stand/walk for 8-12 hours/shift up to 2 hours consecutively

7. Must push/pull wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lb. force up to 30 feet
