The Team and Role

We are seeking a Director of Logitech G Design, C4C based in Shanghai, China to lead multi-disciplinary design efforts in China. This leader will shape locally relevant, globally aligned design strategies and outcomes for the China market, while partnering closely with cross-functional and regional stakeholders. The role requires a strong design point of view, excellent leadership capability, and the ability to influence across a complex stakeholder environment.

This individual will lead design initiatives across disciplines, manage senior stakeholders in China, and serve as a key connection point between the China organization and the global Logitech G Design team. The role reports to the Head of Design for Logitech G.

• Lead and direct multi-disciplinary design efforts in China for Logitech G, ensuring high-quality, market-relevant design outcomes
• Build and drive a strong design vision for C4C initiatives that reflects the needs of gamers in China while staying aligned with the global Logitech G brand and design language
• Manage and influence key stakeholders in China across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial teams, and regional leadership
• Partner closely with the global Logitech G Design organization to ensure strategic alignment, effective communication, and strong execution
• Translate China market insights, user needs, gaming trends, and business priorities into compelling design strategies and product experiences
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing local design team across relevant disciplines such as industrial design, UX/UI, visual design, CMF, packaging, and prototyping
• Drive design excellence from early concept through development and launch
• Advocate for user-centered design methods, strong storytelling, and clear design rationale in cross-functional decision-making
• Establish effective ways of working between local and global teams to improve collaboration, speed, and quality
• Represent Design in leadership discussions and serve as a trusted voice for customer, brand, and experience quality in China
• Ensure that design solutions are both inspiring and practical, balancing desirability, feasibility, cost, and business impact

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following skills and experience:

• Significant professional experience in product design and design leadership, with substantial experience leading teams in consumer products, gaming, consumer electronics, or related industries
• Proven success leading multi-disciplinary design teams and delivering products or experiences from concept to launch
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
• Deep understanding of the China market, consumer behavior, and local design expectations
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on design judgment and executional rigor
• Experience working across global and regional teams, ideally within an international organization
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Ability to balance local market needs with global brand consistency and portfolio strategy
• Experience mentoring and developing design talent
• High level of comfort navigating ambiguity, driving alignment, and making decisions in fast-moving environments
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in gaming, PC peripherals, software-enabled hardware, or lifestyle technology products
• Strong understanding of gamer culture, performance products, and premium consumer experiences
• Experience integrating design research and local consumer insights into product strategy
• Familiarity with manufacturing, development, and go-to-market considerations in China
• Experience leading across multiple design disciplines in a business-critical market

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Advanced degree is a plus
