Locum - Companion Veterinarian

Fraser Coast Veterinary Services is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian to join our friendly team for a locum placement over December and January.

We are open to Full time or part time and have the option to stay on long term with sponsorship options available.

Based in Maryborough, with the option to spend time at our nearby Howard clinic, this is an opportunity to enjoy Queensland's beautiful Fraser Coast while working alongside a supportive and experienced veterinary team.

Whether you're looking for a change of scenery, a working holiday, or simply somewhere warm to spend summer, we'd love to hear from you.

Why consider a summer locum with us?

• Escape the southern winter mindset and enjoy a Queensland summer by the coast
• Work with a welcoming, supportive team that genuinely enjoys coming to work
• Flexible locum arrangements with full-time or part-time options available
• Explore K'gari (Fraser Island), Hervey Bay beaches, whale-watching spots and coastal communities during your time off
• Accommodation and travel assistance available for the right candidate

The Opportunity

We're looking for a veterinarian who can confidently step into a busy small animal caseload and become part of the team throughout our peak summer period.

The role offers:

• A varied mix of consulting and surgery
