.NET Software Engineer

About The Role:

.NET Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support IQVIA's healthcare technology platforms. The role involves working across both front-end and back-end application layers, troubleshooting technical issues, and contributing to platform enhancements that improve scalability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining deeper domain expertise and supporting strategic product development initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Develop and maintain both front-end user interfaces and backend application components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Review functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, implementation, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve software quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.
• Support platform modernization and enhancement initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 Years professional software development experience using .NET technologies.
• Experience working with web-based applications and database-driven systems.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.

Skills Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET/.NET Core.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web service integration.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues effectively.
