Full Time Retail Team Lead, Sherway Gardens

Hours are estimated to be: Approximately 32 hours per week 

Expected pay: $20.25 per hour

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead to assist with leading towards success at our shop in Sherway Gardens. The Team Lead reports to Shop Management and supports sales, merchandising, customer service, and general shop operations. You will guide the team but will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. 

Your success will come from your ability to engage customers, drive sales, and lead by example. You’ll support the team in achieving sales goals through product recommendations, upselling and cross-selling, and promoting current products, campaigns, and initiatives. 

This is a permanent part-time position that requires availability for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).  

You will be a good fit if you are: 

• Passionate about chocolate and have leadership experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality industry 

• Motivated by achieving sales goals and helping your team succeed 

• Confident engaging with customers, identifying their needs and recommending products 

• Comfortable supporting your team with upselling, cross-selling, promotions and current campaigns 

• Dedicated to providing a great customer experience 

• Comfortable guiding and supporting team members on the sales floor
