GDIT is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist Associate (Intern) in (Bossier City, LA).
Profile
General Dynamics Information Technology desires to hire a Technical Writer (Intern) to support the OneGDIT Enterprise Service Desk Program in Bossier City, LA. As a Technical Writer you will support the deployment, management, and extension of knowledge management programs within the organization. You will have the opportunity to hone and develop your technical writing experience by providing briefings, creating call flows, and utilizing process improvement techniques.
Responsibilities
- Reviews usage and effectiveness of knowledge management system and knowledge articles
- Updates and improves existing knowledge base to improve knowledge article content, knowledge article discovery, and improve overall customer service and satisfaction
- Creates job aids and SOP's for incident and problem resolution
- Identifies reoccurring incidents and requests for prioritization of job aid/SOP creation
- Performs operational duties in support of regulatory, security, and industry practices compliance documentation
- Coordinates the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions for call center knowledge base.
- Tracks document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency
- Conducts research and analysis for new content creation and document maintenance (technical writing and editing). Provide customer support for document owners and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least one semester of school remaining

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $17.00 - $23.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
