Purpose

The Fourmile Expansion Superintendent is the project-facing finance, cost control, and capital reporting leader for the Fourmile expansion project, accountable for project budget setup, forecasting and cost-to-complete tracking, commitment and accrual visibility, capital reporting and variance analysis, capital governance, project controls integration, business case and scenario support, cash flow and phasing, change control support, and post-implementation evaluation as the project transitions through execution and close-out. Reporting to the Senior Manager - Capital Controls, the role partners closely with Fourmile expansion project leadership, the NGM CFO and site finance, project controls, technical services, engineering, construction, supply chain, operations readiness, and the broader North America Capital Controls team to ensure the expansion is well governed, transparently reported, and aligned to Barrick’s North America capital allocation framework. The Superintendent provides decision-grade capital and cost information to project leadership and finance leadership, ensuring expansion costs and capital are tracked with discipline against approved budgets, schedules, contingencies, and stage-gate decisions, and that the project transitions cleanly into capitalization, benefits tracking, and steady-state reporting on completion.
