About the job

The Financial Services team is looking for an Account Executive to lead the commercial strategy for a highly strategic portfolio focused on large banking and insurance institutions in Brazil. This role will build long-term executive relationships and position SAS software, hosting, and services to support complex transformation priorities through analytics, AI, and data-driven decision making.

As an Account Executive, you will:

• Lead the sales strategy for large, complex, and highly strategic banking and insurance accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and shape high-value opportunities by connecting customer priorities with SAS capabilities.
• Own complex enterprise sales cycles from account strategy and opportunity development through forecasting, proposals, negotiations, and contracts.
• Build trusted relationships with senior business, technology, data, risk, and procurement stakeholders, including executive-level sponsors.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams across pre-sales, industry advisory, marketing, services, legal, finance, and executive leadership.
• Develop and execute multi-year account growth strategies focused on acquisition, expansion, retention, and measurable customer outcomes.
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise software, technology, analytics, or cloud sales, with a consistent record of managing strategic accounts.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with significant commercial value and long decision processes.
• Proven experience selling to large financial institutions, including banks classified in Segment S1 by the Central Bank of Brazil or institutions of comparable scale and complexity.
• Established professional network and credibility with senior stakeholders across S1 banks and the broader Brazilian financial services ecosystem.
• Ability to translate business, regulatory, risk, data, and technology priorities into compelling value propositions and executive-level conversations.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

• Pipeline management and forecasting experience.
