Be the Heartbeat of a Community Hub
Imagine starting every shift knowing that the work you do keeps a bustling, community-centred mall clean, safe, and welcoming for thousands of people every single day. At Everclean Facility Services, that's exactly what you'll do, and you won't be doing it alone. You'll lead a team, build lasting relationships, and play a front-row role in the events and community moments that make this space more than just a mall.
We're looking for a Site Manager who leads with purpose, takes pride in service excellence, and knows how to bring out the best in the people around them. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and finds real satisfaction in a job well done — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Lead Daily Operations (40% of your time)
You'll be the on-the-ground operational leader for our site in Nanaimo, BC. From overseeing daily cleaning operations and conducting quality walkthroughs to maintaining staffing levels and submitting supply and equipment requests, you'll keep everything running smoothly. You'll use our quality assurance tools and checklists to maintain the high standards our client expects — and that you'll take personal pride in delivering.
Build Trusted Client Relationships (25% of your time)
You'll serve as the key point of contact for property management and site stakeholders. That means proactive communication, responsive follow-through, and a genuine commitment to building partnerships — not just fulfilling a contract. You'll ensure scheduling is clear, communicated, and consistently delivered.
Champion Health, Safety & Compliance (20% of your time)
Safety isn't a checkbox here — it's a core value. You'll ensure your team is trained in WHMIS, Bloodborne Pathogen protocols, and WorkSafeBC (WCB) requirements. You'll also conduct regular supply audits and verify that all products are properly stored and labelled. A safe environment for your team is a non-negotiable priority.
Plan, Report & Improve (15% of your time)
You'll monitor service hours, develop staffing plans, manage work tickets for additional requests, and provide regular performance reports with actionable recommendations. You're not just maintaining the status quo — you're always looking for ways to improve.
What Makes This Role Special
A community-connected environment. This isn't a typical facility — it's a vibrant, event-driven mall that plays an active role in the Nanaimo community. From seasonal events to community programming, you'll be part of something with real local meaning.
A company that invests in its frontline leaders. At Everclean, we recognize that our site managers are the backbone of our client relationships and operational success. You'll receive the tools, training, and support to do your job well and grow professionally.
