Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Director of Banquets, you’re not just directing and administering all banquet functions – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Reporting directly to the property’s Executive Chef, this leader will oversee a Food & Beverage Manager, three Captains, and 60 Team Members. 

The ideal candidate brings prior Assistant Director experience at a high-volume hotel or previous Director of Banquets experience, along with a hands-on leadership style and a passion for training, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Lead administration of banquet functions: Direct all banquet operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, food and beverage quality, new account acquisition, inventory management, cost controls, and systems management
• Drive service standards enhancements: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of departmental service guidelines and standards
• Analyze service trends and satisfaction: Continuously monitor service trends and guest satisfaction, proactively identifying issues and implementing strategies for improvement
• Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
• Uphold regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members #LI-JP2
