Sr. UX Writer

Overview

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior UX Writer and Product Content Producer to shape clear, intuitive, and human-centered experiences across Herbalife’s digital products. You will use language to help customers and distributors understand their options, complete tasks confidently, and navigate complex workflows with less effort and frustration.

As an embedded partner to Product Design, Product Management, Research, and Engineering, you will contribute throughout the product development lifecycle—from early discovery and journey mapping through design, testing, launch, and ongoing optimization. Your work will extend beyond writing individual screens to shaping content strategy, information hierarchy, terminology, and reusable content patterns.

You will also develop consumer-facing copy for digital content experiences, including promotional pages, homepage sections, and product or feature highlights. You will partner closely with Marketing to translate messaging priorities into clear, engaging digital content, with promotional copy reviewed and approved by Marketing before publication.

This role combines hands-on writing with systems thinking and creative expression. You will balance clarity and utility with warmth, personality, and brand expression—helping users feel informed, confident, and supported while creating moments of happiness and delight where appropriate. Your content will support mobile-first, accessible experiences that scale across platforms, markets, and languages.

You will develop a working understanding of approved health and wellness terminology across the English-speaking markets we serve, applying market-specific guidance and partnering with the appropriate stakeholders when language or claims require review.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

Shape clear, engaging product experiences

• Write end-to-end UX content for onboarding, enrollment, shopping, checkout, and account management, including navigation, forms, system messages, notifications, and related transactional communications.
• Simplify complex workflows and requirements so users understand their options, complete tasks confidently, and recover from errors.
• Bring Herbalife’s brand personality to life through warm, human copy and thoughtful moments of delight, adapting tone to the user’s context without compromising clarity or accessibility.

Create consumer-facing content with Marketing

• Develop copy for promotional pages, homepage sections, and product or feature highlights, partnering with Marketing on audience needs, messaging objectives, and campaign priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Design to make copy and visuals work together, and coordinate Marketing review and approval of promotional messaging before publication.

Collaborate from discovery through delivery

• Partner with Product Design, Product Management, Research, and Engineering to shape user journeys, information hierarchy, and content within flows and prototypes.
• Account for dynamic content, validation rules, and alternate states, and review implemented experiences for accuracy and intended behavior.
• Explain content recommendations and trade-offs, balancing user needs, business objectives, and delivery constraints.

Build consistent, accessible, and market-appropriate content

• Develop and maintain shared terminology, voice and tone guidance, and reusable content patterns within the design system.
• Apply mobile-first, plain-language, accessibility, and localization practices so content works across devices, languages, and markets.
• Learn and apply approved health and wellness terminology across English-speaking regions, understanding which phrases to use or avoid. Partner with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and regional stakeholders to maintain current references and resolve wording that requires review.

Improve content through evidence

• Use research, analytics, and user feedback to identify content friction and prioritize improvements.
• Partner on usability testing and content experiments, assessing effectiveness through comprehension, task completion, error recovery, abandonment, and support needs.

Our Digital Product team works at the intersection of user needs, business priorities, and technology to make Herbalife’s digital experiences more intuitive, engaging, and useful for customers and distributors around the world.

In this role, you will help shape experiences—not simply add words to finished screens. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners, bring a content perspective into product decisions, and help establish practices that raise the quality and consistency of our digital products.

You will also help bring the brand to life within the product experience, partnering with Marketing to connect compelling messaging with the practical needs of users. Your work will reduce confusion and frustration, help people complete important tasks, and create thoughtful moments that make digital interactions feel more human and rewarding.

Qualifications

Required experience and capabilities

• 5–8 years of experience in UX writing, product content design, or a closely related discipline, with substantial experience contributing to shipped digital products.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product content work, including the user problem, your contribution, the reasoning behind your decisions, and outcomes or lessons learned.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability, information hierarchy, and interaction patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and actionable content for mobile and responsive digital experiences.
• Ability to balance clear, task-oriented UX writing with distinctive voice and personality, knowing when expressive language enhances an experience and when simplicity and directness should take priority.
• Experience designing content for multi-step journeys, forms, transactional flows, and complex system states.
• Ability to contribute beyond individual strings by developing terminology, content patterns, and guidance that work across an interconnected product experience.
• Experience collaborating with Product Design, Product Management, Research, and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ability to use qualitative research and quantitative signals to inform and improve content decisions.
• Working knowledge of plain-language and digital accessibility principles as they apply to product content.
• Ability to learn and consistently apply market-specific health and wellness terminology and content requirements, using approved guidance and seeking clarification when wording or claims require review.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain recommendations and navigate challenging requirements.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
• Experience working in collaborative design tools such as Figma and documenting content for implementation.

Preferred experience

• Experience writing consumer-facing digital content and collaborating with Marketing on promotional messaging, content reviews, and approvals.
• Experience supporting global products and collaborating with localization teams.
• Experience with e-commerce, account management, onboarding, enrollment, or other complex transactional experiences.
• Experience contributing to a design system, product content style guide, or shared terminology framework.
• Experience simplifying business rules or technical requirements into understandable user-facing language.
• Experience working with Legal, Compliance, or other review stakeholders on product content.
• Experience writing health and wellness content or adapting content to market-specific terminology and claims requirements.
• Experience mentoring peers or helping cross-functional teams improve their UX writing practices.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
