We're seeking a Strategic Grants & Funding Manager to serve as the central coordinator of our funding portfolio, connecting Philanthropy, Programs, Finance, and Leadership to turn funding opportunities into mission impact.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, this role oversees the full funding lifecycle, from identifying and pursuing funding opportunities to ensuring awarded funds are managed effectively, commitments are met, outcomes are achieved, and funders experience exceptional stewardship. More than a grants management role, this position serves as a strategic partner who helps ensure resources are aligned with organizational priorities and translated into lasting community impact and meaningful outcomes for the individuals and families we serve.

What we offer:

· Live and on demand Professional Development opportunities

· Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans

· Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick, and Personal Time

· Employee Assistance Program

· Several Supplemental Insurance Policies

· 401(k) Savings Plan

· Easterseals Cares Wellness Program

· Work Life Balance

· The Opportunity to Make a Difference in the Community and the Organization

What You'll Do

· Identify and evaluate funding opportunities that support Easterseals Florida's mission and strategic goals

· Coordinate the development of grant proposals, applications, and funding requests in partnership with program and organizational leaders

· Serve as the central point of coordination among Philanthropy, Programs, Finance, and Leadership for grant-related activities

· Guide the management of grants and contracts throughout the funding lifecycle, ensuring compliance, accountability, and successful execution

· Monitor grant performance, outcomes, budgets, and spending to identify opportunities, challenges, and potential risks

· Analyze programmatic and financial information to support decision-making and continuous improvement

· Prepare reports and communications that demonstrate impact, outcomes, and responsible stewardship of funding

· Help strengthen funder relationships by supporting proactive communication, transparency, and exceptional stewardship

What We're Looking For

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Five or more years of experience in grants management, institutional giving, grant writing, government contracts, nonprofit program management, or a related field

· Experience with government grants or contracts preferred

· Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

· Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial aptitude

· Excellent writing, communication, and relationship-building skills

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and donor database systems

· A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement

· Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for Easterseals Florida business needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means more than submitting applications and reports on time. You'll help ensure that funding opportunities are actively pursued, grant commitments and deadlines stay on track, funded programs achieve promised outcomes, resources are fully and appropriately utilized, and funders receive exceptional stewardship. Your work will contribute to stronger funder relationships, successful renewals, expanded funding opportunities, and greater impact for the individuals and families we serve.
