Position Responsibilities

Dust, sweep, and mop floors throughout the facility.
Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean work areas.
Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and other waste materials.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms.
Clean microwaves, tables, chairs, countertops, fixtures, and other common areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
Clean and maintain entryways, hallways, and floor mats.
Operate and maintain basic janitorial equipment and supplies.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
Frequent use of hands and arms to grasp, hold, push, pull, and operate cleaning equipment.
Ability to climb stairs when necessary.
Must have sufficient vision to safely perform cleaning duties and identify areas requiring attention.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and building occupants.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed indoors in office, commercial, or industrial facilities.
Regular exposure to cleaning products and janitorial supplies.
Moderate noise levels may be present depending on the work area.
May work around employees, visitors, office equipment, and facility operations during normal business hours.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Good reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills with supervisors and coworkers.
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
Minimum 1-3 years of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience required.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience cleaning office buildings, commercial facilities, or industrial spaces.
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and sanitation practices.
Experience using standard janitorial equipment, including vacuums, floor mops, and cleaning tools.
