Computer Systems Technician

Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission utility serving central and western Kansas, is seeking a Computer Systems Technician in Great Bend, KS. In this role, you’ll join a knowledgeable team to deliver exceptional IT support, maintain and upgrade critical hardware, network infrastructure, and software, and resolve technical issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with Infrastructure Services teams and vendors to assess technology needs, implement innovative solutions, and ensure Sunflower’s technology infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and performing at its best.

Associate degree or technical degree in computer science, information systems, or other computer-related field and two years of network systems and applications installation and troubleshooting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Windows Server and desktop operating systems, virtual server technology, Internet applications experience.
