Legal Intern (Segment EU)

We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern (m/f/d) to support our EU Legal Segment.
This role is designed for a proactive law student who thrives in a dynamic setting and is eager to contribute to meaningful projects. Collaborating closely with our Legal Counsel and various business units, you will assist in a wide array of legal matters that drive our European operations. For those looking to transition from the classroom to the business, this internship offers invaluable insight into in-house legal work.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Collaboration: Contribute to actionable legal insights to multi-disciplinary project teams, gaining deep business acumen within a fast-paced in-house environment.

AI-Enhanced Legal Drafting: Leveraged cutting-edge AI tools to draft internal legal memos and contracts, ensuring citation accuracy by validating all AI-generated case law and regulations.

Data Protection & Compliance: Support in GDPR initiatives by maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and providing support on data protection matters.

Support on Contract Review & Standardisation: Conduct detailed legal reviews, identifying potential risks and ensuring alignment with internal legal standards. Support in the creation of standard agreements.

Corporate Secretarial Support: Manage the drafting of corporate minutes and resolutions while coordinating end-to-end notarization and legalization processes for official filings.

Operational Process Management: Optimize and apply legal workflows across the EU segment, managing end-to-end communication with business units and authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.

Communication & Legal Knowledge Repository: Support knowledge-management initiatives by developing and maintaining a centralised legal repository, ensuring that legal templates, policies and processes remain up to date, accessible, and clearly communicated across the company.

Qualifications

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited law degree program.

Technical: Proficiency in AI tools

Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish. Catalan would be a plus.
