Driver/Warehouse Associate

Description

The Warehouse Associate is mainly responsible for helping with production of insulation products such as loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, operating a forklift, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This position will also be a backup driver when needed and will deliver products to job sites based on a provided schedule. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
• Performs daily pre-trip inspections.
• Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• One year of experience in a production or warehouse environment, preferred.
• One year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last five years, required.
• Must have and be able to maintain a driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements, required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical card, required.
• Experience operating a forklift, a plus.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
