Overview

Friendship Public Charter School is on a journey from good to great. Our aspirations are ambitious: every Friendship school achieving Level 1 performance, Friendship becoming the best place to work and learn, and an organization that continues to grow without sacrificing quality or the experience of our people.

Achieving these goals requires an exceptional People function. We are evolving toward an integrated People operating system that connects Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Talent Development, workforce planning, retention, and performance.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Part-Time Deputy Chief People Officer to partner with the Chief People Officer and People Team leaders to accelerate the implementation of Friendship’s 24-month People Transformation Roadmap. This is a results-driven, 3–6-month engagement focused on moving quickly from strategy to execution, delivering measurable improvements in employee experience and operational effectiveness, and establishing the processes, systems, and accountability needed for long-term success. The successful candidate will be an action-oriented leader who can drive immediate progress, build internal team capacity, and ensure improvements are sustainable beyond the engagement.

Please note that the range is $100 - $210 per hour.

Engagement: Initial three-month assignment, with potential extension through June 30, 2027

This role is not simply about designing a better People function. It is about delivering measurable improvements today while building the capabilities, systems, and operating model Friendship needs for tomorrow.
