We are looking for a proactive, AI-savvy Business Development Representative (Outbound) to build and scale outbound sales pipelines for an enterprise technology business specializing in AI-powered drone autonomy and physical AI solutions for large industrial sites.

This role is designed for a self-driven sales professional who actively identifies prospective customers rather than waiting for inbound leads. You will target enterprise accounts across sectors such as energy, mining, and critical infrastructure, using creative prospecting techniques, AI-powered workflows, and modern sales technology to identify decision-makers and generate qualified business opportunities.

You will own the outbound prospecting engine, from researching target accounts and building contact lists to personalizing outreach and converting prospects into qualified meetings. The ideal candidate combines a hunter mindset with technical curiosity, strong written communication, and hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows or agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Prospecting: Identify, research, and target high-value enterprise accounts through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and creative data-sourcing techniques.
• AI-Powered Workflow Development: Build and deploy AI agents and automated workflows to streamline account research, prospect identification, lead enrichment, and personalized outreach.
• Target Account Research: Identify relevant companies and decision-makers across energy, mining, and critical infrastructure by analyzing company profiles, operational footprints, industry developments, and business needs.
• Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns tailored to specific industries, geographies, customer personas, and business opportunities.
• Sales Technology and MarTech Orchestration: Use tools such as Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing platforms, and AI solutions to build prospect lists, enrich contact data, and automate sales workflows.
• Pipeline Generation: Convert outbound activities into qualified meetings and sales opportunities, taking ownership of pipeline creation and campaign outcomes.
• Personalized Outreach: Craft relevant, compelling messages that resonate with enterprise decision-makers and senior stakeholders, including executives at large multinational organizations.
• Market Intelligence: Gather insights on customer challenges, prospect objections, competitor activity, and market trends to improve sales messaging and inform marketing and product teams.
• Continuous Experimentation: Test and optimize outreach messaging, communication channels, sequencing strategies, and targeting approaches using measurable performance data.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as email reply rates, conversion rates, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline contribution.
• Process Development: Build repeatable, scalable outbound systems that improve prospecting efficiency and deliver consistent results over time.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, Sales Development Representative (SDR) roles, growth, or marketing.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in outbound prospecting, lead generation, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Hands-on experience building or implementing AI-powered workflows, automation systems, or AI agents. Practical implementation experience is essential.
• Strong familiarity with outbound sales tools such as Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing platforms, and prospect data enrichment solutions.
• An AI-first approach to research, outreach personalization, lead generation, and workflow automation.
• Excellent written English and the ability to create concise, personalized outreach messages for senior business stakeholders.
• Strong research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• A metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to track campaign performance and optimize activities based on results.
• Resourcefulness and creativity in identifying prospects through unconventional research methods and data sources.
• Ability to work independently, experiment with new approaches, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Have Skills

• Outbound Sales: Prospecting, cold outreach, lead generation, and enterprise account targeting.
• AI-Powered Workflows: Building and implementing AI agents and automation workflows for sales prospecting and outreach.
• Apollo: Experience using Apollo or similar sales intelligence platforms for prospect research and contact discovery.
• Lead Enrichment: Ability to identify relevant contacts and build accurate, targeted prospect lists.
• Campaign Execution: Experience planning, launching, and optimizing outbound sales campaigns.

Good-to-Have Skills

• First 30 Days: Understand the target markets, ideal customer profiles, and sales proposition; build targeted account lists and launch initial outbound campaigns.
• Within 3 Months: Establish repeatable AI-assisted prospecting workflows, improve outreach personalization, and consistently generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities.
• Long Term: Build scalable outbound systems that improve prospecting efficiency, increase conversion rates, and create a sustainable pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
