Have you seen first-hand what a patch note does to a subreddit? Have you turned community feedback into something a studio acted on? Are you ready to take more ownership of the strategy behind it? This might be your next role.

What you'll do
You’ll take ownership of defined tasks on our gaming accounts, helping video game clients understand their players and communities, and turn that understanding into content and social strategy. You’ll work closely with our senior gaming and content strategists, building on the experience you bring with our strategic tools and methods.

Main responsibilities

What we're looking for
You might have moderated a community, made content, modded, played competitively, or written about games. What matters most is that you live in gaming culture, have opinions on what works and what doesn’t, and are curious about player behavior beyond your own favorite genres.

Qualifications

Who we are and what we offer
Kurppa Hosk is a brand and communication agency with 200+ people in Stockholm, Oslo, New York and Chicago. We work with brave organizations, from early-stage start-ups to Zalando, Scania, Nike, Meta and Minecraft. We’re also a founding member of Eidra, a collective of specialist companies, so you’ll have management consultants, digital experts and product innovators down the hall.

You’ll get a personal coach, peer feedback on every project and courses in areas like AI and strategy. Benefits include 30 days’ vacation, a wellness allowance, private health insurance, an occupational pension, and a phone and laptop. You’ll work from our award-winning office at Grev Tureplan.

How to apply
Send us your resume and a short letter introducing your background. In it, cover two things:

  1. Tell us about a time you turned community feedback, from a subreddit, Discord, or comment section, into an actionable takeaway or piece of content. What was the result?

  2. Pick a game launch or update from the last year. What did its community and social activity get right or wrong, and what would you have done differently?

Keep the letter to one A4 page at most. We’re reading for how you think, not how much you write — so give us your own thinking, in your own voice. We’d much rather read something genuinely yours than something perfectly polished by AI.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until November 6, 2026.
