Job Description

We are seeking a polished and service-oriented Waiter / Waitress to deliver refined and personalized dining experiences within an exclusive private members club. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional service etiquette, strong food and beverage knowledge, and an intuitive understanding of member expectations. This role requires a commitment to attentive, discreet, and seamless service while upholding the Club's standards of excellence and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and personalized food and beverage service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for members and their guests.

• Build rapport with members, recognize individual preferences, and anticipate needs without compromising discretion or privacy.

• Present menus confidently, explain culinary offerings, and provide informed recommendations on food, beverages, and pairings.

• Execute established service sequences, including table preparation, order taking, food presentation, and clearing, with precision and professionalism.

• Coordinate closely with Culinary, Bar, and service colleagues to ensure accurate orders, appropriate pacing, and timely delivery.

• Accommodate dietary preferences, allergies, and special requests while ensuring accurate communication with the Culinary team.

• Maintain impeccable table settings, dining areas, service stations, and overall presentation standards.

• Process orders and payments accurately through POS systems while supporting appropriate upselling opportunities.

• Address member feedback and service concerns promptly, ensuring professional resolution and appropriate escalation.

• Comply with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and established Club service procedures.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, or a related discipline is preferred.

• 1–3 years of Food & Beverage service experience, preferably within exclusive private members clubs, fine dining restaurants, or premium hospitality environments.

• Strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette, table settings, service sequences, and food and beverage presentation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, discreet, and member-focused approach.

• Good knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, beverages, and basic food and beverage pairing principles.

• Ability to anticipate member needs and deliver personalized service with confidence and professionalism.

• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced dining environment.

• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and digital ordering platforms.
