Casual paralegal opportunities

We welcome expressions of interest from law students interested in casual paralegal opportunities in our Melbourne office. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated students to diversify their skills and gain exposure to a top-tier law firm, while working predominantly for a large-scale matter. You will develop your skills alongside some of the best in the industry in a dynamic team environment.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in securing a paralegal position, you will:

• Be currently studying a law degree
• Be in at least your second year of studies
• Have a strong academic record
• Be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week with immediate availability to commence
• Have no planned leave in November or December 2026 (including any clerkship programs)
• Have some availability to work over the Christmas and New Year period (preferred, though not required)
• Have minimal planned leave in the first half of 2027
• Previous work experience in any field (paid or unpaid) is highly regarded.
• Previous paralegal or legal experience is also highly regarded but not essential.
  

We are also looking for candidates who are proactive and have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
