Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and coordinating limited energy drawings under the guidance of experienced designers.
• Produce and update project drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
• Compile product data submittals and cutsheets based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with project team members and attend project-specific meetings.
• Conduct site visits for information gathering as assigned.
• Pursue training and participate in continuing education to stay updated on industry trends and standards.
• Provide timely and clear communication with team members, providing regular updates on tasks.
• Demonstrate dependability and accountability by completing assigned work on time and effectively assisting teammates and project partners.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction or similar preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in electrical construction, installation, or design would be preferred.
• NICET I or II certification in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk drafting software suite, including Revit and AutoCAD, or similar work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, BICSI, AVIXA, PSA, local codes, and internal limited energy standards.
• Demonstrated ability in customer focus, problem solving, and delivering quality work.

Physical Requirements

• This job operates in a professional office environment.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines. 
• This position requires the ability to lift files and open file cabinets.
• Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch. 
• This position may occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Pay Range:

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
