Trauma Nurse Registrar - RN - San Diego

Required Qualifications: 

• Active California RN License
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. 
• Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years' experience in trauma, critical care, or emergency nursing.
  RN, State of California. 
• Trauma Registry course completed within twelve months (Paid for by Scripps Health). 
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum one year experience working with medical records of injured patients. Working knowledge of ICD- 10 coding, AIS, ISS, and AAAM Coding. 
• Excellent interpersonal relationships
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Evidence of advanced computer skills: data base maintenance, word processing, spread sheets, presentation software, flow charting, relational data base programs. 
• Previous Trauma Registry experience preferred. 
• Bachelors degree in health related field highly preferred
