What you'll be doing

Our Fraud Strategy team helps protect our clients and the bank by identifying fraud risk, strengthening controls, and improving how we prevent and respond to fraud. As a Senior Consultant, Fraud Strategy, you'll use your deep expertise to consult with internal leadership teams on potential fraud risks and lead loss mitigation, recovery, and investigation activities related to reported operational losses. You'll work with a high degree of independence to identify trends, assess complex issues, and recommend improvements that reduce losses and strengthen internal processes. In this role, you'll help manage fraud risk policies, strategies, and projects for fraud team and across the bank. You'll use data and analytics to identify risk exposures, develop practical mitigation strategies, and support a strong client experience in fraud management. You'll also build strong relationships across CIBC and with external financial institution partners to support collaboration, innovation, and informed decision-making.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
