Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

The role:

Auditors check companies' accounts, using our innovative auditing methodology and give assurance to stakeholders that the financial statements are true and correct. They also provide accounting advice with regard to accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards and other accounting systems. As a Process Auditor in the Competency Centre you will support the core audit engagement team by performing remotely certain audit tasks.

As a Process Auditor you will:

Participate in real auditing projects under the supervision of professional auditors;
Test supporting documents and identify risks;
Prepare the information for the colleagues who take part in auditing processes (support for client facing staff).

What are looking for:

People with knowledge or experience in the area of Finance/ Accounting/ Economics with college or university degree;
Analytical skills and logical thinking;
Availability to undertake permanent cooperation with PwC;
Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team;
Fluency in English;
Good computer skills, familiarity with MS Excel would be an advantage.
