What you'll be doing

The Research Chapter enables high-quality, evidence-based decision-making across CIBC by equipping researchers with the processes, tools, standards, and governance they need to deliver consistent, impactful work. As a Research Operations & AI Enablement Co-op, you'll support the team’s efforts to scale research through stronger operations, improved knowledge management, and thoughtful exploration of AI-enabled efficiencies. You’ll contribute to research process documentation, templates, repository practices, SharePoint content, intake and tracking processes, and community knowledge-sharing initiatives that help reduce administrative effort for researchers. You’ll also help evaluate emerging AI tools and opportunities that can support research planning, analysis, synthesis, reporting, and operational workflows with appropriate human oversight. Working closely with partners across the Research Chapter, you’ll document findings, support proof-of-concept activities, and help identify practical ways to improve researcher productivity and time-to-insight. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of research operations while gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of user research, operations, and responsible AI innovation.
