Supervisor Relief Nursing Admin - GVCH PD

Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is seeking a per diem Relief Admin Nursing Supervisor. This position oversees the delivery of quality patient care following Cottage Health and department-specific policies and procedures, as well as directing and evaluating the care delivery of others to ensure continuity and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Level of Education

Minimum:  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program with an anticipated graduation date within an established timeframe.

Preferred: Masters Degree or equivalent of education and experience.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations 

Minimum:     Current California Registered Nurse license
                        American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
                        American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred: American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Technical Requirements

Minimum: Knowledge of licensing and accrediting requirements. Experience with Microsoft office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Years of Related Work Experience 

Minimum: Three (3) years of Registered Nurse leadership experience in an acute care area.

Preferred: Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience of increasingly greater responsibility in an acute care hospital
