Acura of Peabody, part of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is searching for Experienced Automotive Technician who is ready to be part of our team. If you’re skilled at diagnosing complex issues, value precision, and want a shop that respects your expertise, we’ve got a bay ready for you.

Estimated Compensation Plan: $28-$40/hr. plus up to an additional $5/hr. with biweekly productivity bonus

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and rotating Saturdays 

In this role you will:

• Diagnose, repair, perform maintenance on vehicles as described on repair order in accordance with factory standards
• Clearly and accurately document all work performed
• Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
• Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by manufacturer. Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins
• Follow warranty material disposition procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
• Maintain the order and cleanliness of customer vehicles and work areas
• Other tasks assigned by the management team

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years automotive experience
• Acura/Honda Brand certification a plus
• A strong desire to produce quality workmanship and achieve targeted goals
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to pass pre-employment screens
