Chief of Sales Group | Telematics

About the job:

We are looking for a Chief of Sales Group - Telematics to lead the growth of Teltonika's sales operation in Turkey and drive sustainable business growth across the Turkish market.

Teltonika's telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

As Chief of Sales Group, you will be responsible for building and developing a strong local sales team, expanding our customer base, and strengthening relationships with key customers and business partners.

 In this role, you will:  

• Establish and develop Teltonika's sales operations in Istanbul, Turkey.
• Build, lead, and coach a local sales team.
• Act as a hands-on sales leader, combining team leadership with direct involvement in key customer and partner engagements.
• Drive revenue growth, pipeline quality, and market penetration.
• Execute and adapt HQ-defined strategies to the region based on local market conditions and business opportunities.
• Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding opportunities for growth.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM discipline.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters and regional stakeholders.
• Develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with corporate customers, distributors, and business partners.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and take action to improve results and team effectiveness.

Requirements

What we expect of you: 

• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in a technology-driven or other business-to-business environment.
• Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
• Native Turkish and business-level English language proficiency.
• Excellent time management skills, team-oriented mindset, and critical thinking.
• Willingness to tackle challenges, a results-focused personality, and a track record that reflects it.
• Experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring team members is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel within Turkey and occasionally abroad for customer meetings, events, or internal training.
