R&D Packaging - Internship (6 months)

Your Mission

At Stryker, your work helps make healthcare better. During this Packaging Engineering Internship in Medical Devices, you will support the development, testing and improvement of packaging solutions that protect medical technology products and help ensure they reach healthcare teams safely and reliably. You will gain hands-on experience in a MedTech internship environment, work with experienced engineers and contribute to meaningful projects with real-world impact. This six-month student internship in Germany is designed to strengthen your technical skills, build your confidence and support your career development in packaging, product development and medical engineering.

What You'll Do

• Support the integration of new products into existing and new packaging systems for medical technology products.
• Contribute to innovative packaging solutions based on user needs and packaging development methods.
• Assist with packaging tests to verify and validate design concepts.
• Support prototype and production part testing, including preparation, setup and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve existing packaging concepts and develop new solutions.
  

What You'll Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program, or recently graduated, in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, etc.), Packaging Technology, Product Design, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong engineering thinking, hands-on mindset and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn new things in a fast pace environment
• You are confident communicating in English (minimum B2). German language skills (minimum B2) are a plus

Switzerland Pay Ranges:

• Switzerland: CHF36,000 Annual
