We are looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Junior PR Executive to support public relations initiatives and manage coordination with external PR agencies. The role involves overseeing day-to-day communication, following up on campaign deliverables, tracking media coverage, and ensuring the smooth execution of public relations activities.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or brand marketing, preferably with a direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand in the fashion, beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle industry. Candidates with experience working at PR or communications agencies are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. PR Agency Coordination

• Serve as the primary coordination point between the organisation and external PR agencies.
• Follow up on campaign timelines, media pitches, coverage updates, and pending deliverables.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with agency partners to ensure timely execution of PR activities.
• Track agency performance and ensure agreed deliverables are completed within established timelines.

2. Media Outreach and Coverage

• Monitor and track media mentions, press coverage, editorial features, and campaign outcomes.
• Coordinate with PR agencies on media outreach, brand announcements, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date media coverage trackers and PR reports.
• Identify relevant media opportunities to improve brand visibility and strengthen public relations efforts.

3. PR Campaign Execution

• Support product seeding, gifting initiatives, and sample dispatches for media representatives, influencers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, brand collaborations, media interactions, and events.
• Coordinate campaign requirements with internal teams and external partners.
• Ensure timely delivery of samples, campaign materials, and other PR-related requirements.

4. Content and Communication

• Assist in preparing press releases, media briefs, brand information documents, and other PR communication materials.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and communication standards across public relations activities.
• Collaborate with marketing, social media, and creative teams to align PR initiatives with broader brand campaigns.
• Review communication materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency before distribution.

5. Reporting and Industry Research

• Maintain trackers for agency deliverables, media outreach, campaign progress, and press coverage.
• Share regular updates and reports on ongoing PR activities, campaign performance, and media outcomes.
• Monitor competitor PR activities, emerging industry trends, and relevant media opportunities.
• Research developments across the fragrance, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries to identify potential opportunities for brand visibility.

Must-Have Skills

• Public Relations (PR): Basic understanding of PR activities, media relations, campaign execution, and brand visibility initiatives.
• Communications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Brand Marketing: Understanding of brand positioning, consumer communication, and integrated marketing activities.
• Agency Coordination: Strong follow-up, relationship management, and coordination skills to ensure timely completion of campaign deliverables.
• Organisation and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, trackers, and campaign requirements simultaneously.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in maintaining media coverage records, preparing communication materials, and tracking campaign progress.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or brand marketing.
• Experience with a D2C brand in fashion, beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, or a related consumer category is preferred.
• Candidates with experience at PR or communications agencies are welcome.
• Strong organisational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• An interest in media relations, consumer brands, industry trends, and public relations.
