Solutions Consultant, Europe

About the role 

We're looking for an energetic, tenacious Solutions Consultant with prior EdTech or SaaS sales experience to join us in a full-time, individual-contributor role based in Loughborough, with hybrid working in the office. In-person training, onboarding and team meetings will take place across our UK office locations, and from time to time you may be expected to work from a different location.
You'll own new logo acquisition across your European territories, winning new school and institutional clients with support from our marketing team. You're a sales hunter: a self-starter who stays focused on your priorities while working within a highly collaborative team, and who is creative while aligning your work with broader team and company goals.

What you'll bring

Required

• 3+ years of prior sales experience, preferably in EdTech or SaaS, with a demonstrated track record of carrying and exceeding a new-business quota
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort engaging senior school leadership and, where relevant, school groups and education authorities
• Eagerness, a competitive attitude and the ambition to achieve
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Europe

Preferred

• An existing network across international or private schools in Africa
• Additional language skills (e.g. Swahili or French)
• Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Workspace and Zoom
• Familiarity with K-12 curricula (IB, Cambridge, British, American) common across Africa

Key responsibilities

New logo & territory ownership

• Carry and exceed the new logo acquisition target for your European territories
• Build and execute a territory plan across your European territories, prioritising markets and segments with the highest concentration of international and private schools
• Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through to close, in line with our high-growth strategy

Pipeline & sales execution

• Complete engagement outreach and pipeline follow-up with thoughtful strategy, purposeful segmentation and appropriate urgency
• Conduct online and in-person demonstrations for schools, articulating value propositions persuasively and showing empathy for customers' jobs to be done
• Maintain a healthy, consistent sales pipeline and keep Salesforce up to date
• Report sales activities, campaign metrics and results weekly to your line manager

Market presence & collaboration

• Represent Faria at regional conferences and school-leader events, building brand presence across Europe
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineer, Client Experience and Marketing colleagues across the Territory Drive teams to align messaging and share best practice
• Closely follow trends within the education technology sector across Europe

What success looks like

• Target exceeded: carrying and exceeding the new logo target for your European territories
• 2x self-generated pipeline: pipeline at twice quota, above and beyond marketing-sourced leads
• Clean forecasting: a clean, consistently filled pipeline with accurate forecasting
• Out in schools: a strong volume of school visits and product demonstrations
