An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Medivet Croydon. This is a small, welcoming practice with a loyal client base, where you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with both clients and their pets while delivering exceptional standards of care. Working alongside a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon and two skilled Veterinary Care Assistants, you'll play a key role in supporting the team clinically and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect.

This is a varied role where you will utilise your nursing skillset, supporting medical and surgical cases, leading nurse consultations and clinics, carrying out Schedule 3 procedures, and providing gold-standard inpatient care. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys taking ownership, is passionate about patient advocacy, and thrives as part of a collaborative team.

We understand the importance of work-life balance and are pleased to offer the flexibility of a 4-day working week, allowing you to enjoy a rewarding career while maintaining time for life outside of work.

As part of your rota, you will work 1 in 5 weekends at our well-equipped Beckenham 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital, giving you exposure to a diverse and interesting caseload while benefiting from the support of an experienced hospital team. You will also participate in the hospital's bank holiday and on-call rota.

Located in South London, Croydon offers excellent transport links into Central London while also being close to green spaces, cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities. Medivet Croydon is supported by a wider network of nearby practices, giving you access to additional clinical expertise, collaboration and support whenever needed.

At Medivet, you can become part of a wider nursing community where professional development is actively encouraged. You'll have access to experienced colleagues, clinical support, CPD opportunities, nurse forums and clear career progression pathways, enabling you to continue developing your skills while making a real difference to patients, clients and your team every day.

Your career means more than a rota and a job title, that’s why we offer:
