PH PDSS Sales Manager - Industrial & Renewables

What you’ll do:

The primary focus of this role is to develop and manage the PDSS business in the Philippines by driving growth through existing channels, supporting customer and partner success, and identifying new business opportunities. The role focuses on expanding market presence, developing new channels and customer relationships, and contributing to sustainable business growth through effective commercial and technical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support existing and newly established channels and customers, providing guidance on technical and commercial matters.
• Establish, monitor, and evaluate the performance of assigned channels within the Philippines market.
• Collaborate with the supervisor and relevant stakeholders to identify, develop, and expand channel partnerships across the Philippines.
• Partner with Product Line Managers to ensure channels and customers receive effective product, technical, and commercial support.
• Develop and implement sales growth strategies for new products and solutions within the Philippines market.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, including industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities, to support business planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and manage sales budgets and profit plans for the Philippines business.
• Provide monthly and rolling sales and order forecasts to regional leadership and the supervisor.
• Work closely with Customer Support Representatives within EA PDSS to ensure timely Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), product shipments, and service delivery.
• Deliver regular business updates to the supervisor, including participation in monthly and bi-weekly business review and conference calls.
• Provide technical support and customized solution recommendations to address customer needs and inquiries within the Philippines.
• Plan, propose, and execute promotional activities for products and solutions, including seminars, training sessions, industry events, and trade shows.
• Coordinate with the Credit Department regarding distributor payment terms and credit arrangements.
• Organize and facilitate training for channel partners on compliance topics, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and business ethics standards.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Application Engineers to develop and finalize customer quotations and solution proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, channel management, or technical support within the electrical, electronics, or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical products and solutions, particularly within power transmission and distribution networks.
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively, independently, and effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
• Strong commitment to clear, timely, and transparent communication with supervisors, colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative approaches to business opportunities and challenges.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to take initiative, influence stakeholders, and drive business growth through strong leadership and a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
• Strong presentation, reporting, and business communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and professional written documentation.
