If you’re a Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Journeyperson Electrician with hands-on power generation experience, Finning can support you on your journey to get your Dual Ticket.

• Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
- Additional Premiums available per hour: $3.25 (continuous shift), $5.00 (field), $3.25 (dual ticket)
• Bonus Target: 4%

Job Description:
- Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment
- Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments
- Load test power generation equipment
- Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment (including general maintenance to full rebuilds of CAT engines)
- Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation experience would be an asset
- Power Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
- Generator experience would be an asset
Important Notes:
- A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing)
- A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
- 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices may be considered
- Equivalent Tickets with power experience will be considered
