As a Head Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory, practice and operational standards and compliance.

Medivet Faringdon is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in their career. Medivet Faringdon is closely linked with Medivet Wantage clinic and share staff across the 2 sites. The 2 clinics have 5 vets, 8 RVNs, 3 VCAs, and 3 CCAs. This role would suit someone looking to be a in supportive environment.

With an established client base already in place, this is a great opportunity to further grow your operational management skills, while making a real impact locally.

The role

Full-time: 40 hours across 4 days
1 in 6 weekends at Woodstock 24 Hour

About you

You’re a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. You’re a confident leader with experience of getting the best out of every colleague.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
Deliver exceptional care to your clients
Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
