Sales Management Manager

Ryt Bank is looking for a strategic and results-driven Sales Management Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing sales strategies, strengthen customer relationships, and empower our teams to perform at their best.

You won't just be managing sales metrics, Relationship managers performance, sales dashboard but you'll be also shaping how we grow our credit and loan portfolio. From identifying lending market opportunities to coaching high-performing teams on credit product sales, you'll play a key role in driving revenue, enhancing customer experience, and delivering on our promise of banking that works for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management & Execution

• Develop and implement sales strategies for lending products aligned with bank objectives.
• Monitor market trends, credit appetite shifts, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive acquisition of new customers and cross-selling via leads generation.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams to achieve lending KPIs and portfolio growth targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions with a focus on credit product knowledge and responsible lending practices.
• Foster a high-performance culture and ensure compliance with bank credit policies and lending guidelines.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, particularly SME and commercial borrowers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the credit lifecycle from application to disbursement and beyond.
• Resolve escalated customer issues.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare sales forecasts, lending budgets, and credit portfolio performance reports.
• Analyze loan pipeline data, approval rates, and portfolio health to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Present credit portfolio insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and responsible lending standards.
• Work closely with credit risk and compliance teams to manage portfolio risks, including delinquency and concentration risk.
• Uphold sound credit assessment principles throughout the sales process.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales management in SME or commercial banking.
• Solid understanding of lending & trade finance products.
• Ability to handle credit assessment and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong strategic thinking and sales planning skills to drive business growth.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and credit presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with borrowing clients across various segments.
• Analytical thinker with strong credit judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
