Captain / Supervisor - Benjamin

The Supervisor/Captain reports to the Restaurant Manager and assists in overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations. They supervise and support team members while playing a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure proper service planning based on anticipated guest volume;
• Inspect the dining room to ensure all areas are properly set up and service-ready;
• Supervise and support staff members throughout service;
• Maintain ongoing communication with the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service operations;
• Ensure guest satisfaction during and after service;
• Handle guest complaints and concerns when required;
• Participate in inventory management;
• Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Training in restaurant management is considered an asset;
• Strong customer service orientation;
• Leadership skills and excellent communication abilities;
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
