Banquet Attendant - Restaurant Vieux-Port Steakhouse

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the setup of banquet rooms according to established floor plans (tables, chairs, linens, dishware, glassware, audiovisual equipment).
• Provide food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, conferences, and special events.
• Clear tables, clean, and restore rooms after events.
• Work closely with the service team, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations.
• Comply with all applicable hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Respond to guest requests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Transport and handle equipment and materials required for events.
• Be able to lift and carry loads of 30 to 50 pounds.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality, food service, or events industry is an asset.
• Excellent customer service skills; courteous, professional, and guest-oriented.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong reliability and a sense of responsibility.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
