The Role

The Commercial Analyst sits in Commercial Operations and reports to the Commercial Operations & Onboarding Manager. The role uses data analysis, pricing insight and sharp process thinking to drive revenue growth and protect margin across the Ofload marketplace. It analyses Issues & Claims data, identifies revenue leakage and commercial trends, and works with Product to move manual workarounds onto the platform.

It's hands-on, with real reach across Finance, Operations, Product and Sales. It suits someone who likes being close to the numbers, interpreting data, and helping the people making decisions with clear insights.

What you'll be doing:

• Analysing end-to-end Issues & Claims (I&C) data to ensure cases are resolved quickly, accurately and on sound commercial terms
• Setting consistent standards for documentation, coding, data capture and approvals, and escalating high-value or complex cases
• Reviewing off-platform I&C data to identify revenue opportunities, trends and process improvements without adding unsustainable complexity
• Partnering with Product to prioritise and ship features that strengthen commercial reporting, pricing capability and data visibility
• Using data insights to support the movement of manual, off-platform processes into the core platform
• Spotting inefficiencies and building templates, checklists, reports and workflows that cut rework and improve data accuracy
• Working with Finance on charging, crediting, accruals and disputes by analysing relevant commercial and invoicing data
• Helping Operations get to the root cause of commercial and process issues through data review and trend analysis
• Giving Sales and Commercial the data, insight and precedent to support pricing negotiations and commercial decision-making
• Building and owning reporting processes that keep rate cards, invoices and commercial data accurate

About you:

• A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering or a closely related quantitative or information technology discipline.
• Experience in a data analyst, commercial analyst, pricing analyst or revenue operations role
• A track record of delivering commercial or pricing outcomes in a similar role
• Experience in a tech scale-up, logistics, marketplace or other high-growth business
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including building models from scratch
• The ability to turn a spreadsheet into a story people act on
• Confidence working across teams and influencing without formal authority
• Ownership and follow-through, with no need to wait to be asked
• Adaptable, resilient under pressure and always learning
• Logistics or supply chain experience in pricing, margin or revenue operations is a bonus, but it isn't essential

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000
