Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join our sales team in a supportive role focused on supporting small-to-medium accounts and customer service excellence. This position serves as a critical bridge between our customers and internal departments while providing comprehensive sales support. The role offers a clear career progression path to Business Development Representative for high-performing individuals.

Position Responsibilities

Sales Process & Account Support

• Assist assigned accounts with sales processes, procedures, marketing and product inquiries
• Guide partners through company procedures and documentation requirements

• Make sure partners are aware of and engaged with Phantom programs and communications

• Support pricing requests and quotation processes for designated accounts (Mulligan, Showroom)

• Help partners improve in key areas such as:
  • Finding and focusing on the right customers in their area
  • Closing more sales and improving their sales process
  • Running local marketing and generating demand
  • Delivering better service and installation experiences
• Share what's working well across the partner network
• Help partners understand and communicate the value of Phantom Screens products

• Track distributor performance metrics and escalate issues as needed
• Support distributor training initiatives

Distributor Service & Issue Resolution (Assigned Accounts)

• Serve as primary point of contact for distributor inquiries and concerns
• Investigate and resolve distributor issues in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure swift problem resolution

Internal Coordination

• Direct distributor inquiries to appropriate departments (technical, finance, shipping, etc.)

• Work with internal teams to make sure partners get the best possible support
• Help develop tools and resources that make partners more effective
• Share market and competitor feedback with the wider Phantom team
• Contribute ideas to improve how Phantom positions and sells its products

• Collaborate with Business Development Reps on account strategies

Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate documentation of all distributor interactions
• Generate reports on account activity and issue resolution
• Assist with sales data analysis and territory planning
• Support special projects as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales support experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B sales or account management
• Knowledge of distribution channels and partner management
• Experience with sales processes and pipeline management
