Senior business support executive - Valuation

We are looking for a proactive and organised Senior Business Support Executive to join the Business Support team. This role is deal for someone with good communication skills, a warm and professional demeanour, and the ability to support a busy team with efficiency and attention to detail.  

The role is based in our London Head office 3 days a week with 2 days working remotely. You’ll be joining a collaborative Business Support team of six, working together to provide high-quality operational and administrative support across the business. You will work particularly closely with our Valuations team of 28 colleagues, providing dedicated senior Business Support and becoming embedded in their day-to-day ways of working. The role is based in our London office, allowing you to build strong relationships with the team while also supporting Valuations colleagues across the wider business. 

Responsibilities

• Business Support administration for the Valuation teams (e.g onboarding clients and suppliers, invoicing, adding new jobs to pipelines, document formatting) 

• Maintain accurate, organised and compliant electronic files throughout the lifecycle of an instruction, including shared drives and SharePoint sites 

• Take ownership of data quality across Valuation instructions, ensuring information is complete, accurate and updated in a timely manner 

• Monitoring of the shared Business Support inbox and task board 

• Provide appropriate reception and front-of-house cover as part of the wider Business Support team when required. 

• Use and support Valos as part of the valuation reporting process, maintaining accurate information and helping colleagues use the system effectively. 

• Answer overflow switchboard calls 

• Cover team members during leave  

• Develop a strong understanding of different client and lender requirements and ensure these are reflected within administrative processes 

• Identify tasks being undertaken by fee earners that could appropriately be transferred to Business Support, helping release capacity for technical and client-facing work 

• Manage competing priorities across different Valuations teams, communicating clearly where deadlines or requirements conflict 

Requirements

• Previous experience in Business Support, operations, team support or a similar role. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  

• Is highly organised and confident managing multiple competing priorities 

• Is confident working with senior stakeholders and can constructively challenge, chase and keep colleagues accountable for actions and deadlines 

• Confident using Microsoft Office, working with systems, processes and data 

• Has some experience coordinating or delivering smaller projects and process improvements 

• Professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality  

• Positive, proactive, and reliable  

• Is comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment 

• Enjoys developing specialist knowledge and becoming embedded within the teams they support 

Desirable

• Experience using Valos or another valuation/reporting platform 

• Previous experience within property, surveying or Valuations 

• Experience supporting valuation reports or property-related instructions 

• Experience of Monday.com 

• Experience with client onboarding, billing and audit/compliance administration
